eSIM coverage checker: networks and 5G by country
Which networks a Universal eSIM uses in each launch destination, whether 5G is available to roamers, and where coverage thins out. 19 countries and 7 regions.
How roaming coverage works
A Universal eSIM connects to 2 or 3 partner networks in each country, listed below for all 19 launch destinations, and uses the same towers as a local SIM on that network. 5G is available where the partner opens it to roamers, which in October 2026 includes the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the UK, the EU, the USA and Japan.

How coverage works on a travel eSIM
A travel eSIM is a roaming profile from a wholesale network with agreements across the world. When you land, your phone scans for networks, and the profile accepts any partner on its list. The phone attaches to the strongest and uses that operator's towers exactly as a local customer would. If the signal drops, it hands over to another partner. Speed depends on the agreement: most include 4G LTE everywhere and 5G in a growing list of countries.
- Cities: identical to a local SIM.
- Rural areas: coverage equals the partner network's own rural footprint; where one national operator is much stronger (Telstra in Australia, Deutsche Telekom in Germany, Telkomsel on Bali) we partner with it.
- Borders: single-country plans stop at the border; regional plans hand over within a minute.
- Indoors and underground: same as locals on that network; metros in Singapore, London and Paris are covered.

Frequently asked questions
Which network will my eSIM connect to?
The strongest partner network at your location, chosen automatically. In most countries that is one of two or three national operators listed on this page. You can force one in network selection.
Is coverage the same as a local SIM?
On the partner network, yes: roaming profiles use the same towers. Differences arise only in 5G availability and in rural areas where the partner network is weaker than a rival.
Do you cover cruise ships and flights?
No. Maritime and in-flight networks are separate satellite systems.
What about countries not on this list?
Our Global eSIM covers 130+ countries; the full list with networks is shown in your account before purchase. The launch destinations above have dedicated pages.
How do I check coverage at a specific address?
Open the partner network's own coverage map (for example Telstra, EE or T-Mobile) and check the address there. Roaming coverage matches the partner's 4G footprint.
Why does the phone show a different network name?
Some networks display a brand name or a code. The destination page lists the names and codes you may see.
