Europe eSIM questions
Which countries does the Europe eSIM cover?
42 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, plus Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Coverage within each country is on the same partner networks as our single-country plans.
Do I need to change anything when I cross a border?
No. The eSIM reselects a partner network automatically within a minute of crossing. Keep data roaming on for the eSIM line. Your data balance and validity are shared across all countries in the region.
Is the Europe eSIM cheaper than buying single-country plans?
For two or more countries, usually yes. Two single-country 5GB plans for UK and France cost about ₹1,598 together; the Europe 10GB plan costs ₹1,599 and covers both plus 40 other countries. For a single country, the single-country plan is cheaper.
Is hotspot allowed on regional plans?
Yes. Every Universal eSIMs plan allows hotspot and tethering. Unlimited plans give full speed for the first 2GB each day, then 3 Mbps.
When does validity start?
When the eSIM first connects to any network inside the Europe region. You can install it at home on Wi-Fi days or weeks earlier.
Can I top up?
Yes, from your account or the app, without a new QR code. Top-ups keep the same coverage list.
What if a country I visit is not on the list?
Buy a single-country plan for that stop or switch to the Global eSIM, which covers 130+ countries. You can hold several Universal eSIM plans on one phone and switch between them.
