Education consultant questions
What does an education consultant earn per student?
On the reseller ladder you earn 25%, 30% or 35% of each sale depending on monthly volume. A student starter kit at ₹3,499 earns ₹875 at 25% and ₹1,225 at 35%. Each monthly continuation plan at ₹1,999 earns ₹500 to ₹700 for up to 12 months. Founding consultants start on 30% for 6 months.
What is in the student SIM kit?
A local number in the destination country that is active before the student departs, a 30-day starter plan with 30GB to 50GB of data depending on the country, India calling minutes, and a discounted monthly continuation plan. Countries covered: USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland, France, New Zealand and the UAE. Details are on the student SIM page.
How do I issue a student SIM?
From the reseller dashboard, exactly like a travel eSIM. Enter the student's email and WhatsApp, pick the destination kit, and the eSIM QR plus the local number arrive in 60 seconds. For students whose phones need a physical SIM, we courier the SIM to your office or the student's home in India before departure.
Can I give students a discount?
Yes. Every consultant gets a code worth 10% off for the student, and the discount comes out of the retail price, not your margin band. Parents often pay, so the checkout supports a different payer email.
Do I need to hold stock or money?
No stock. You top up a prepaid wallet from ₹5,000, which is your money to sell against; the margin is retained inside it at each sale. No joining fee during launch.
Is there a pre-departure webinar?
Yes. We run a co-branded 30-minute pre-departure session for your students covering phone setup, installing the eSIM, keeping the Indian number alive for OTPs, and data use abroad. You invite, we present, and your code is on every slide.
What about students who already left?
They can buy the continuation plan or a travel eSIM online with your code for the first 45 days after departure, and the sale is attributed to you as an affiliate sale at 15% on the first order and 5% on repeats for 12 months.
Can a large consultancy take a franchise instead?
Yes. A consultancy sending several hundred students a year from one city can apply for the city franchise, earn 35% to 40% on direct sales and a 5% override on other consultants it brings in as sub-resellers. See the franchise programme.
