How the estimator decides the tier

Below 1,000 active SIMs you are on IoT Go. From 1,000 to 10,000 you are on IoT Scale automatically, with no negotiation. Above 10,000 the estimator points you to an Enterprise quote, where per-SIM and per-MB rates fall below Scale. Data is pooled across all SIMs in the month, so a few heavy devices are offset by many light ones.

Frequently asked questions

How is the monthly IoT cost calculated?

Active SIMs times the per-SIM fee, plus total MB times the per-MB rate. IoT Go: US$1.00 per SIM and US$0.004 per MB. IoT Scale from 1,000 SIMs: US$0.60 and US$0.0025. Inactive SIMs cost nothing.

What counts as an active SIM?

A SIM that transferred at least 1KB in the billing month. SIMs in stock, in transit or powered down are free.

Is data pooled?

Yes. All MB across your active SIMs are pooled and billed at the per-MB rate; no per-SIM bundles to size.

Are there minimums or contracts?

None on IoT Go. IoT Scale offers an optional 12-month term for a further 10 percent off. Enterprise terms are negotiated.

What about SMS and static IP?

SMS is billed per message at published rates on the IoT pricing page. Private APN and static IP are included from IoT Scale and available as add-ons on IoT Go.

How does this compare with others?

Onomondo publishes pay-as-you-go from €0.0025 to €0.003 per MB (observed 25 October 2026) with tiers on quote; most other IoT providers publish no prices. Our Go tier is US$0.004 per MB with a US$1 SIM fee and no minimum, and Scale is US$0.0025 per MB.
