Corporate travel eSIM: before and after
How it works for the traveller
Accept the invitation
The traveller gets an email or sees the workspace via SSO, installs the Universal eSIMs app and scans one QR code. Two minutes, on Wi-Fi.
Name the line
Call it "Work travel" so it is obvious in Settings next to the personal SIM.
Switch on at the gate
Turn on the line and data roaming for that line only. Keep the Indian SIM on for calls and OTPs with its roaming off.
Work
Hotspot the laptop. Usage draws from the pool and appears in the dashboard within minutes.
Switch off on return
Or leave it on; it draws nothing in India unless India is enabled for the account.

Deployment specifics
Devices
Any unlocked eSIM phone: iPhone XS and newer, Samsung S20 and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, most recent OnePlus and Motorola. Corporate-managed iPhones and Androids work; MDM can push the app. Phones without eSIM get a physical travel SIM from the same pool.
Dual SIM behaviour
The work travel line is data only. The employee's own number stays active for calls, SMS and OTPs. We supply a one-page settings sheet per OS so nobody turns roaming on for the wrong line.
Add-on countries
For the 60 or so countries outside the pool footprint, admins buy single-country plans from the dashboard at the published consumer price, billed on the same invoice.
Security
eSIM profiles are provisioned through GSMA-certified SM-DP+ platforms. Account data is stored in India. 2FA on every login, SSO and audit log on Growth and Enterprise.

Corporate travel eSIM questions
How is a corporate travel eSIM different from a consumer travel eSIM?
The eSIM profile on the phone is the same. The difference is ownership and billing: the company owns the account, data comes from a company pool or seat, the invoice goes to finance, and admins see usage and set caps. Universal eSIMs consumer plans start at ₹249; corporate pools start at ₹24,999 a month for 50GB shared by 10 travellers.
Does each employee need to install something for every trip?
No. The Universal eSIM is installed once, in about two minutes, and stays on the phone. Before each trip the traveller does nothing; at the gate they switch the line on. The dashboard shows the trip as soon as the eSIM connects abroad.
Which countries are covered?
130+ countries on the pooled Global footprint, including the USA, Canada, the UK, all of the EU, Switzerland, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. For the remaining 60 or so countries, admins can buy single-country add-ons from the dashboard at published prices.
Can an employee use the eSIM for personal travel?
That is a policy choice. Admins can allow personal use with a monthly cap, require approval, or block it. Personal trips are tagged separately in the export so finance can recharge them if required.
What happens when an employee leaves?
Remove them in the dashboard or let SCIM do it when HR deactivates the account. The eSIM stops drawing from the pool immediately. The profile on their phone becomes inert and can be deleted.
Do you support travel management companies and booking tools?
Yes. Enterprise accounts can connect to a TMC or booking tool through our API so that a booked trip pre-authorises data for its dates and destination. TMCs that want to resell should see the white-label and API pages.
How fast is the data and is 5G included?
5G is included where the local partner network offers it and the phone supports it, with 4G LTE elsewhere. Pooled plans run at full speed with no daily throttle; the pool itself is the only cap.
Can we try it before committing?
Yes. Team Starter is monthly and can be cancelled any time, which makes it the pilot. Enterprise prospects can run a 30-day pilot with up to 10 travellers on Starter terms before signing an annual plan.
