  • Tablets and laptops without cellular, used away from the phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is pocket Wi-Fi cheaper than an eSIM?

Rarely. At ₹300 to ₹900 a day, a 7-day rental costs ₹2,100 to ₹6,300 before the deposit. A 20GB Europe eSIM costs ₹2,499 and a 5GB plan ₹1,099.

How many devices can share an eSIM hotspot?

Five on iPhone and most Android phones. Hotspot is allowed on every Universal eSIMs plan with no separate cap.

Does hotspot drain the phone battery?

Yes, roughly 10 to 15 percent an hour with two devices connected. A power bank solves it. Pocket Wi-Fi devices have the same problem with their own battery.

Can I use an eSIM in a pocket Wi-Fi device?

A few newer hotspot routers accept eSIM profiles. Most rental units do not. If you own an eSIM-capable router, our plans will install on it.

What if nobody in the group has an eSIM phone?

Order a physical travel SIM for one phone and hotspot from it, or rent pocket Wi-Fi.

Is unlimited eSIM data truly unlimited for hotspot?

Full speed for the first 2GB each day, then 3Mbps, which still handles maps, messaging and music on connected devices.
